Camel Valley Community Area Partnership |
||
Good morning residents of Camel Valley CAP.
Yesterday marked the AGM for the Camel Valley Community Area Partnership (Community Area Partnerships - Cornwall Council). It was great to meet with so many of the parishes within the policing sector all in the same place to hear about new initiatives, share updates, and collectively look to make our communities safer and stronger together.
At the meeting, I confirmed our priorities for the upcoming third will be remaining as Shoplifting / Retail Crime (specifically within our urban areas), Anti-Social Behaviour, and Drugs. These themes continue to be inter-related and will form an integral part of our policing strategy as we go through the summer months. We will continue our Rural Crime Surgery at Blisland Shop, as well as looking to arrange other such events at retail and community spaces so please follow your inbox, our Facebook Page, and Website for details.
Our Summer Policing plan has also started this week, so please come and say hello should you see us out and about at your community events across the coming weeks. This platform will be aimed to be used more frequently not only in-line with the Government Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee, but also as we look to engage our communities in more intuitive ways.
As of yesterday, Safer Cornwall have launched their annual “Have Your Say” Survey on crime and anti-social behaviour, so I encourage you all to fill this in please where you get the opportunity. Here is the link Safer Cornwall Have Your Say Survey | Let's Talk Cornwall.
I wish you a good rest of your week.
Many thanks
